Protection—Thoughtfully Designed
If you’re here, it’s because you care deeply about your family—and you want to make sure they’re protected, supported, and spared unnecessary court involvement or conflict.
That’s where thoughtful planning begins.
We work differently than most law firms, by design. Our approach is personal, deliberate, and focused on long-term relationships. It’s why our clients value not just the plan we create, but the experience of creating it.
How to Begin
You have a few simple ways to take the next step—choose what feels right for you:
A brief introductory call
A short conversation to learn more about our approach and ask initial questions.
A Life & Legacy Planning Session
A comprehensive session designed to educate you, give clarity, and help you make informed decisions for the people you love.
An Estate Plan Review
If you already have a plan, we’ll review it together to see whether it still works—or where updates may be needed.
The Life & Legacy Planning Session
We set aside dedicated time—up to two hours—focused entirely on you and your family.
Before we meet, you’ll receive a guided Inventory & Assessment to complete at your own pace. This preparation helps organize your financial life and ensures our time together is productive and meaningful.
During the session, we walk through:
What would happen today if nothing changed
What you want to happen instead
A clear path to align your plan with your intentions
Many clients leave saying, “If we had known it could feel this clear and manageable, we would have done this years ago.”
Fees and Scheduling
The Life & Legacy Planning Session is designed to give you clarity, organization, and a complete understanding of your options.
If, during the session, you decide to move forward and design a comprehensive plan with us, the session fee is credited toward the legal fee for creating or updating your estate plan. In other words, the time spent planning together becomes part of the work of building your plan.
In some cases, the session fee is waived entirely. Instead, your appointment is reserved with a credit card on file to hold the time exclusively for you. As long as you keep your appointment as scheduled and complete the preparation in advance, nothing is charged.
If your plans change, we simply ask for notice at least seven days before your scheduled session so that we can offer the time to another family who may be waiting.
This approach may feel different from what you’ve experienced elsewhere—and that’s intentional.
We structure our schedule this way so we can devote meaningful time and attention to every family we serve. We work with a limited number of new clients each week, allowing us to provide thoughtful guidance, responsive support, and a level of care that continues well beyond the initial planning phase.
Our goal isn’t volume. It’s lasting relationships and planning that truly works when it matters most.
Preparing for Your Session
Once scheduled, you’ll receive clear instructions and your Inventory & Assessment.
We ask that it be completed and returned a few days before your session so we can review everything thoughtfully. If questions come up, our team is always available to help—no guesswork required.
What Happens After the Session
If we’re a good fit and you decide to proceed, we design your plan around your life, values, and priorities.
We carefully review how each of your assets is currently owned to ensure everything is titled in a way that supports maximum protection and aligns with the plan you’ve just created. This step is critical—because even the best documents only work if your assets are owned the right way.
Next, we schedule your Signing Ceremony, typically about a month later. This timing enables thorough preparation and provides ample time for review and reflection prior to finalizing your plan.
Your Signing Ceremony
The Signing Ceremony is more than paperwork.
During this meeting, we walk through your documents with you—clearly and thoughtfully—so you fully understand how your plan works and why each decision was made. By the end, you’ll know with confidence that your wishes have been captured accurately and that the people you love will be cared for exactly as you intend.
Once your documents are signed, your plan is in place.
Your assets are protected.
Your family is supported.
Refinement and Follow-Through
We see signing not as the end, but as the beginning of our relationship.
For the 90 days following your Signing Ceremony, you may make changes to your planning documents at no additional charge. This allows you to fine-tune details as questions arise or as you reflect further on your decisions.
After that, we schedule a final meeting to confirm that asset transfers are progressing as planned—whether we are handling them on your behalf or guiding you through the process.
During this meeting, we review your asset summary together, ensure everything is on track, and answer any remaining questions. You’ll leave knowing not only that your plan is complete but also that it’s actively working the way it should.
Estate planning isn’t static—and neither is life.
We stay connected, review plans periodically, and keep you informed of legal changes that may affect you. We’re also here when questions arise, without billing for routine calls or emails.
For families who want annual reviews and added support, our FamilyCare Program provides ongoing guidance and additional benefits.
